Our Science in Haiku
Sometimes scientists are also poets.
We asked our team to submit haikus describing our Science.
Three lines, five syllables in the first line, seven in the second one and five in the third.
Here are the entries
Ring ring ring…hello?
Would you like to do science?
Voice mail box is full :(
Swabs and blood and masks
Oh my, Was covid a dream?
I guess it’s over!
Paxlovid rebound
Oh, so clearly a real thing
But still confusing!
Behind the data
Schedules, couriers, drop-offs
Research is people
A stick of mucus
And a few teaspoons of blood
Is all we ask for
Including or not
too much data to describe
the struggle is real
My virus was down
Like a Phoenix, now risen,
Oh Pax, you devil
Pax rebound explained,
covid mysteries no more;
hi, POSITIVES here
And the winner is…
Ring ring ring…hello?
Would you like to do science?
Voice mail box is full :(
